40 Greatest Women of Country Music

The 40 Greatest Women of Country Music is a three hour television special held in 2002 by CMT. The special counted down the women who have made the greatest contribution to the genre, as well as leaving behind the greatest impact.
It was decided by hundreds of artists and music historians from all over the country.
Billy Campbell hosted the program that first aired on August 30th of that year.
