Émile Loubon

Émile Loubon (January 12, 1809 – March 1, 1863) was a French genre painter.
Loubon was born in Aix, and studied under François Marius Granet. He traveled with Granet to Rome in 1829, and in 1845 became director of the School of Practical Design at Marseilles. He was awarded the Légion d'honneur in 1855.
