2002 V8 Supercar Championship season

The 2002 V8Supercar Championship Series was the fourth running of the V8 Supercar Championship Series. It began on March 15, 2002 at Adelaide Street Circuit and ended on December 1 at Sandown International Raceway after 13 rounds.

The following drivers and teams competed in the 2002 V8 Supercar Championship Series. The series consisted of 11 rounds of sprint racing and two rounds (the Queensland 500 and the Bathurst 1000) of endurance racing with each car piloted by two drivers.

The 2002 V8 Supercar season consisted of 13 rounds which included 11 sprint rounds of two or three races and two endurance races. There were also two non-championship events held as support races for Formula One and Champ Car.
