Ionta (ion, iontis, n.; Graece ἰόν, ἰόντος "iens") in chemia sunt atomi vel moleculae electrice oneratae, propter electronum suorum dotationem augere vel diminuere, in principio neutra. Hoc appellatur iontizatio.
