Your use of VP seems to have a minor flaw; this edit summary is incorrect; you're reverting to RoyBoy, not reverting his contributions. I have no objection to the edit, but the summary seems wrong. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 13:18, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, it seems to be a bug in VP. I noticed someone else posted it on the bug tracker. Supposedly it's been fixed in 1.3.8. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. --Phoenix Hacker (talk) 23:48, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] images

Hi, I noticed that you commented to AntiVandalBot: Fair use images are not allowed to be used to identify living people. Can you cite a source for this? Thanks - Tempshill 23:48, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Gladly. Right here. Personally I'm not sure if I agree with the policy but the general consensus seems to be that pictures of living people must be free use. If I didn't change it, someone else surely would have. --Phoenix Hacker 05:28, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Are you aware that you just removed a Wikimedia commons file with proof listed on the image page? RadioKirk (u|t|c) 05:36, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Yes, I noticed that afterwards. Entirely my fault. --Phoenix Hacker 05:37, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
'sokay, I almost did the same thing but thought better of it and looked it up ;) RadioKirk (u|t|c) 06:03, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Creative Commons/PD Images

Hello there! I apologize for the fact that I haven't been on Wikipedia in a while. I had to go down to Santa Monica and stay for a few days :) Must say I love the weather out here. Anyway, you can find our official site at santamonicanews.info. Since we just got our web presence this year, we are currently under contract with GoDaddy to provide a free hosting service while our developer builds the SQL databases we need. Once that is done (estimated within 1 month), we will transfer it over to our new server, and go from there. As far as updates, our webmaster is currently building the site up as we speak, and he usually updates the live copy once or more a week. Eventually, we'll have an online edition of our paper. As far as the images I use, as stated on my userpage, I generally use Creative Commons A-SA for images that were used in our paper. A few of my images are public domain, because they were not used in our paper and I would otherwise have no use for them. Hope this helps, and talk to you later! [edit] Battle of Saratoga

Hey, Phoenix, you're fast on the draw! 8-) You caught me mid-multiple version revert of some vandalism on Battle of Saratoga. I'm working my way back to an untampered-with version - just letting you know. Jackollie (talk) 00:54, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Charity Begins at Home (Ashes to Ashes)

Why do you keep being so picky on the above article, I worked hard on it and now your just making it something it shouldnt be, have you actually seen the episode? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Police,Mad,Jack (talkcontribs)

Not yet but your plot description is impossible to read. It has some atrocious grammar and is very unclear. I would help edit but it's quite late. Sorry about that spelling correction. I chose the wrong word in my spell checker. --Phoenix Hacker (talk) 11:12, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Thats fine we all make mistakes, but ok fair enough I dont want you to keep you up as its only 11:00AM here, but apart from grammar its content was good, wasnt it? Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 11:14, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

It's a start. Reading it again it looks like you've got the essential information there. It just needs some editing for formatting and grammar. --Phoenix Hacker (talk) 11:22, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, thanks Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 11:24, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
