KWBH-LP, channel 27, is a low-powered affiliate of The CW in Rapid City, South Dakota. KWBH is seen on cable channel 16 in most areas. Much of the programming comes from The CW Plus. They are owned by Rapid Broadcasting, which also owns KNBN and KKRA-LP.

[edit] History

When it started in 1998, the station had the call letters KNBN-LP. It was an affiliate of The WB network. In 2000, Rapid Broadcasting began broadcasting NBC programming on full-power KNBN channel 21. (Previously, KUSA in Denver had served as Rapid City's de facto NBC affiliate.) In 2003, channel 27 became KWBH-LP, and carried programming from The CW Plus' predecessor, The WB 100+ Station Group. On September 2006, UPN and The WB merged to be The CW. KWBH joined the new network upon its launch.
