Diese historische Karte aus dem Jahr 1765 zeigt das Territorium der Grafschaft Salmannsweiler, dem weltlichen Herrschaftsbereich der Reichsabtei Salem. Das eingezeichnete Gebiet liegt im heutigen Bodenseekreis östlich von Überlingen, Baden-Württemberg.

Die nummerierten Grenzsteine markieren den Bereich, in welchem das Kloster die Hohe Gerichtsbarkeit innehatte. Eingezeichnet sind neben den Ortschaften auch Wege, landwirtschaftliche Nutzflächen, Bewässerungskanäle, Waldflächen und Landmarken. Das Kloster selbst liegt in der linken oberen Ecke des Territoriums (beschriftet als "Salmanschweil"). Im unteren Bereich ist das Bodenseeufer zu sehen, das von Nußdorf bis kurz vor Unteruhldingen zu Salem gehörte.

Unmittelbare territoriale Nachbarn des Klosters waren die Reichsstadt Überlingen im Westen sowie die Grafschaft Heiligenberg.

Das Wappen in der oberen rechten Ecke des Bildes gehört Anselm II., dem 38. Abt von Salem (Amtszeit 1746-1778).
