Phoenix Sprint Stakes

The Phoenix Sprint Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 6 furlongs (1,207 metres) at the Curragh in August.
It moved to the Curragh in 2002, prior to which it had been held at Leopardstown since 1991. The race originally took place at Phoenix Park until the venue closed at the end of the 1990 season.
