Phillip John Sarboe (August 22, 1912 – November 1985) was a college football coach. From 1945 to 1949, he coached at Washington State University, where he guided the Cougars to a 17-26-3(.402) record. In 1966, he coached at the University of Hawaii, where he posted a 4-6 record with the Rainbow Warriors.
He played college football at Washington State. He played in the National Football League for the Boston Redskins in 1934. He also played for the Chicago Cardinals and the Brooklyn Dodgers. He completed only 42.3 percent of his passes for just 1133 yards, had a 4-26 career TD/INT ratio, and a career passer rating of 27.9.
