[edit] About Me

I am a student at West Virginia University and am currently enrolled in the school of engineering, and I plan on majoring in mining engineering. My primary interest on Wikipedia is in the Christian, and more specifically, Roman Catholic articles. I am Catholic, and I aim for accuracy to what the Church teaches in all articles pretaining to Catholocism. Although I am a stonch Catholic I respect all other religions as long as you don't want to kill me. I am a very conservative person.

I am half Polish and the other half is basically German and a whole bunch of other stuff. My other primary interest is in Poland and the History of Poland, the Polish Language, the people of Poland etc. I would really like to pick up a second language before I die, and I have dabbled in French, German and Polish. My heros are John Paul II and Ronald Regan.

We make war that we may live in peace.

The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

...the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

So let us be alert – alert in a twofold sense:

Since Auschwitz we know what man is capable of.

And since Hiroshima we know what is at stake.

Just because it's the best you can do doesn't mean you have to do it.

My experiences with science led me to God. They challenge science to prove the existence of God. But must we really light a candle to see the sun?

Scientists study the world as it is; engineers create the world that has never been.
