[edit] Wedlock (band)

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Wedlock (band). Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Hey there..i know i created a previous page, but on further research found the music project and recreated the page using that template and added more verifiable information. Wedlock is a licensed band, currently touring, with releases available on iTunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody Music, and material available at Borders and Barnes & Noble. What exactly is it that you guys keep deleting them for. Paul Allgood is also a published fiction author. What needs to happen to make this page stick???StacieVan 04:24, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
What about the bands association with the recording of the recent album with John Morand at Sound of Music Studios in Richmond. That just doesnt count?StacieVan 04:57, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 12 January 2008

Fact is not "personal analysis" as you suggested. The article is mostly biased in it's current form.

Hey, dude -- I know all about Wikipedia, I just forgot to log in today.. The "removing POV" in the edit summary didn't tip you off? ;) 24.185.243.220 05:28, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Margaret Anstee

Hi! Can you recheck the Margaret Anstee page. I believe it now conforms; I had been adding the links when the edit conflict began.

[edit] DB tag on the 76ers

When there is a possbike misspelling of an existant article, but written as the actual article, it's better to redirect to the proper spelling (which is what I did). Just a note telling you I have remove your tag. Evilclown93 20:25, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] answers.com

I noticed your comments at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Charles_George_James_Arbuthnot. I wanted to let you know that answers.com copies its information from Wikipedia. It's not a copyright violation if you find something at answers that is the same as Wikipedia. The information was at wikipedia first. --JayHenry 03:12, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Robo67

There are many entries for graduates of the school so why is this one deemed inappropriate?

Here Luke Kirby (actor) is an example of a entry similar to Alicia's that has been deemed appropriate. Why the double standard? --Robo67 21:40, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism?

I never vandalised a wiki artical. If i did, please make the diff link. Dacheatcode 19:17, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

No problem, because the same thing happened to me. 0_o

[edit] Jean-Claude Duvalier

(I assume this is what you were referencing.) I fixed the citations and fixed the links for them. In the reverted version you went back to there are now 9 reference and only 7 references listed. This is obviously wrong. My contributions today were not vandalism.

[edit] Message

Hello, I did not make any edits to Ray Chares. I think that message was some sort of a mistake. 172.167.66.160 04:35, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

OK, maybe someboday with my IP made the edit, but I thought it was rather rude to say "either you or somebody with your IP made the edit". I had already told you that I did not make that edit, and I do not think you shoul have implied that I might be lying. 172.167.66.160 05:03, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Xylitol Robots

Sir,

Kudos for your vigilance on the Xylitol article. I was trying to demonstrate to my girlfriend why Wikipedia is not an infallible resource; you have made the argument somewhat less convincing.

(Let the record state that I would have removed the vandalism myself if you hadn't gotten to it first...)

T. Stepleton (CMU Robotics phd student---greetings from Squirrel Hill!)

[edit] Explain your self

Just how could showing how a POV editor who has lied that he wasnt a member of a group he was promoting, among many other thing, Vandalism on a artical discussion page? were else can such things be talked about as it is deeply impacting an artical?

It is the Ebionite artical BTW

Hey man im new at this and have no idead where to put this but u canerase it after u see it anyways but how did i vandilise that page???

[edit] Vandalism notice

I have noticed that you posted several warnings on a Talk page of this user. I feel obliged to inform you that the user in question vandalised article about the Unforgivable Curses in Harry Potter series. The evidence for my report is to be found on the user's Contributions list and in the history of the page. Appropriate action for blocking this IP should be taken. [edit] Luna Halo

Noticed your making an afd on Wedlock (band) (hope I did things fine) and was wondering if this would qualify for one too: Luna Halo. Not sure, since it has plenty of google hits. -WarthogDemon 05:14, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Understood. Thanks. :) -WarthogDemon 06:39, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dance Dance Evolution and the Anon IP

Yes, I know, I shoud assume good faith, but the user is clearly not acting in good faith - thus the last warning. --Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 03:35, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Apparently, the DDE article is a repost of material originally posted from Uncyclopedia, see here. I don't fully know my way around copyright rules regarding the exchange of information between Uncyclo and Wiki, but is it possible that such rules may require you to remove the DDE material you posted to BJAODN? Just wondering. Uncyclopedia should've been the first place I looked to see if the article was reposted material. TheLetterM 03:50, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

For always being on the ball with vandal-fighting, and for being a consistent, hard-working, and honest contributor. Also, the reporting at AIV is always on the money! Jmlk17 06:46, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks...

...for reverting this edit to my userpage. Much appreciated. By the way, out of interest, are you a boy or a girl?--Vox Humana 8' 03:24, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm a guy, I guess I should put that on my userpage. KJS77 05:19, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bill Handel

Hey, I saw this article has been vandalized, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Thought I'd let you know. Wingnutmax 00:40, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] that doesn't count as vandalism...

Hi, I appreciate the efforts to stop vandalism, but I was deleting the messages on my own page. They were both automatic messages relating to images I had uploaded, both of which I took care of. So I thought I could just delete them. Is that not ok? Ezradf 01:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

what can i help you with? please welcome me. thank you. --Themirage (talk) 01:11, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rollback

You're an effective vandal-fighter, and know the difference between a good-faith edit and vandalism. Would you like the rollback feature to help you revert vandalism better? Acalamari 02:53, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Oh, I know you use Twinkle. :) It's just that I can change your user rights from (none) to (rollbacker) which will give you the MediaWiki rollback, and it can be used alongside Twinkle. At any rate though, keep up your good anti-vandalism work. Acalamari 22:09, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Done. The best thing about rollback is that, while it can be given out easily, it can be taken away quickly too. Acalamari 22:15, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
