Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. – Luna Santin (talk) 08:31, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Talk Pages

Please do not edit other people's comments on talk pages as you did at Talk:BBC. Also please take care when replying to other people's comments to make it clear that what you have written is a reply. You can do this by using one or more colons (:), this will indent your comments. It is also customary to "sign" your comments, you do this by adding ~~~~, which is replaced with your username/ computer address and the date and time when you save the page. Hope this helps. [edit] January 2008

Your recent edit to David Mills (rugby league) (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. The edit was identified as adding either test edits, vandalism, or link spam to the page or having an inappropriate edit summary. If you want to experiment, please use the preview button while editing or consider using the sandbox. If this revert was in error, please contact the bot operator. If you made an edit that removed a large amount of content, try doing smaller edits instead. Thanks! // VoABot II (talk) 20:16, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

I don't know what youur talking about.

Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive or hard to read formatting, as you did to Livy, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. your edit here was not grammatically correct. Unless you understand the grammatical rules of American English, I would recommend not trying to correct it. Tanthalas39 (talk) 00:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:30, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Hi, the recent edit you made to 42 (number) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks.
