Vimy Ridge (or, as the Europeans call it, the Battle of Arras)

...needs a change. It presumes that the author and reader are not European. Also does not specify: Who calls it Vimy Ridge? Africans, Americans, Asians...? ~ Booya Bazooka 18:04, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Vimy Ridge was the earliest stage of Arras; WWI battles were often a single "major battle" lasting several months with a number of smaller named battles involved. Canadian history tends to conflate Arras as a whole with Vimy Ridge, by far the most significant part from a Canadian perspective. I've edited the article accordingly.
