This IP address is used by a proxy server that services most (all?) schools in New South Wales, and possibly the rest of Australia. Unfortunately, the actions of a few students can cause problems for the thousands of other, responsible students who access wikipedia from the same IP address. --Panzuriel 02:50, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Multi user IP number

Note that it is not only students, people accessing wikipedia via schools or department of education computers, and not only people in New South Wales who are affected by the constant blocks placed on this IP number. Non-school based home users are also regularly affected by the bans on this IP number. Please be very careful before placing more blocks on this IP Number.

Hi, I am one of the many users of this IP adress, and being a student at one of the schools where users were vandalising Wikipedia I understand that you are annoyed somewhat, although, I just wanted to let you know that the person responsible for recent vandalism was given an appropriate punishment and I hope that no one does this again.
