Articles and events specifically related to the decade beginning with the year 2000 and ending with the year 2009.

The name of this decade, as of 2007 is largely unclear. "Two Thousands" is the most common usage, (though some people would say is not clearly separate from references to the century or millennium, even though nineteen hundreds is commonly used for the 1900s decade without implying the whole 20th century). "Twenty Hundreds", "Twenty Zeroes", "Twenty Ohs", "noughts", "zeroes", "Zip Years" and other names have been suggested.
