[golygu] Croeso i gornel y dysgwyr / Welcome to the learners' corner
Most of this page is in English.
Mae rhan fwyaf y dudalen hon yn Saesneg. (A oes dysgwyr Cymraeg fan hyn, sydd heb fedru'r Saesneg?)
The aim of this page is to help Welsh learners to make a contribution to the Wicipedia Cymraeg, within the limitations. Please feel free to expand it in whatever way will be most useful.
[golygu] Tasks for learners / Gwaith dysgwyr
This section is the main purpose of this page!
Obviously most of the work in writing an encyclopedia in Welsh has to be done by fluent speakers. But not every task requires the ability to compose whole paragraphs of fluent text. If you can identify specific tasks where learners of the language can usefully help, then please list them here. Please also update the list as the status of these tasks develops.
- Translating articles from Welsh Wicipedia into English on English Wikipedia
- Checking correct inter-wiki linking for new articles
- Adding photographs
- Updating country infoboxes, e.g. national leaders
- Placing stubs into appropriate stub categories
- Adding categories to uncategorized articles, templates and files
- Adding pronunciation files from commons to articles having foreign language names, eg Yr Ariannin. Ironically, the language you don't get to hear with this job is Welsh itself. (Ychwanegu ffeiliau ynganu o Gomin Wicifryngau i erthyglau ag enwau tramor, e.e. Yr Ariannin.)
[golygu] About the learners / Am y dysgwyr
Although there is no need to list every learner, feel free to add info about yourself / links to user pages that you feel may be particularly relevant. (Only include currently active users.)
