Philautus surdus is a species of frog in the Rhacophoridae family. It is endemic to the Philippines. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, plantations , rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
