2008 Guolian Securites Jiangsu Snooker Classic

The 2008 Guolian Securites Jiangsu Snooker Classic was an invitational professional snooker event. It was held from the 4th to the 8th of June, 2008 in Nanjing, in the Jiangsu Province, China. The round-robin stage consisted of two groups of six players, eight top 16 players and four Chinese Wild Cards. It was unusual in that the final was staged at a different venue (in Wuxi City), to the rest of the tournement. The final attracted over a 1,000 audience, where Ding Junhui delighted his home crowd by taking the title. In the intervals there was music and exhibitions between players and also a 'flying colours' competition where the players in the event tried to pot the colours as fast as they could.
