"Someday" is a single lifted from Is This It, the debut album by acclaimed American garage rock/post-punk band The Strokes. The music video for the song features appearances by Slash and Matt Sorum; the guitarist and drummer from Guns N' Roses, as well as the members of Guided by Voices. The video also features Richard Karn as himself as The Strokes take on Guided By Voices in a game of Family Feud. The group Guided by Voices won, 350-211.
The song is sampled on Rhymefest's song Devil's Pie, produced by Mark Ronson, from his Blue Collar album. It was also featured in the 2006 movie Click, starring Adam Sandler and the Major League Baseball 2K8 soundtrack.
