Hi. This is John's Userpage.
Why is this userpage so drab and ugly? It's because I'm a pretty lousy editor. But I wanted something here anyway because I do some stuff. What exactly do I do?
- I clean some things up. Mostly minor edits - I'm working on my bravery to research and write articles. As my editing skills get better I will keep a tally of what I'm working on here.
- I insert tags on things that desperately need them. If it needs cleanup, the POV is resembling an acid or a base, or it somehow needs help, I'll say so, and jump in if I am feeling really adventurous.
- I'm actually a pretty decent writer and good at copy-editing. I'm going to jump in on the backlog that exists there and see how far that gets me.
- I participate in the AfD discussions and nominate stuff that needs it. I loathe cruft. Backyard wrestling feds get nominated with extreme prejudice - occasionally for WP:BJAODN.
- I revert vandalism if User:AntiVandalBot gives me half a chance. You rock, AntiVandalBot!
So say hello on my talk page, give me pointers if you see something I've done on an article that you like or didn't like, and maybe I'll get the hang of this. Remember we all started out as newbies :).
