Prix de la Nonette
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Prix de la Nonette is a Group 3 flat horse race in France for three-year-old thoroughbred fillies. It is run over a distance of 2,000 metres (approximately 1¼ miles) at Deauville Racecourse in August.
It was first run in 1952 at Longchamp and was named after the Nonette, a small river close to Chantilly.
The race remained at Longchamp until 1979, transferring to Deauville the following year. It briefly returned to its original venue in 1984 and 1985, and from 1989 to 1991.
