The Princes Hall in Aldershot, England is a 600-seat theatre / receiving house which presents a varied programme of music, ballet, comedy and pantomime The Princes Hall is currently also the only venue in Aldershot to show films. [1]
An additional 3 function rooms named the Princes Suite, the Edinburgh Suite and the Tichbourne Suite (after the prominent Aldershot family) are available for hire for conference, parties and weddings. The Theatre is owned and managed by Rushmoor Borough Council
The Princes Hall was awarded the Devereux Cup in 2008 for its contribution to the arts [2]

[edit] Pantomime
The Princes Hall hosts an annual pantomime for 3 weeks every December. The show has been produced and directed by Hopkins Associates for the past 15 years and is written by James Barry. Since 2005 the Princes Hall have moved away from the traditional stories of Cinderalla, Aladdin and Snow White and have instead produced well-known fairy tales to great aclaim. 2005 - Sleeping Beauty, 2006 - Beauty & The Beast[3], 2007 - The Wizard of Oz, 2008 - Peter Pan

Since 2006 the Princes Hall has hosted a professional ice show in the main auditorium. Over 14 tonnes of crushed ice are used to create the ice rink on the main stage, on which over 30 Russian ice skaters and acrobates from Wild Rose [4] perform a spectacular show. 2006 - Snow White ON ICE, 2007 - Peter Pan ON ICE, 2008 - Beauty & The Beast ON ICE.

Commissioned by Rushmoor Borough Council as a civic hall and designed by Building Design Partnership the Princes Hall was named for HRH Prince Phillip The Duke Of Edinburgh.[5]
