[edit] Raw Log Exports
I think it should be mentioned that the economy is suffering deeply from raw log exports. 4:52, 19 October 2006
The demographics section refers to a 'shift', people not leaving due to a 'shift' in the economy. That dosen't fly. There is no link to back that up, there is no factual information about a 'shift', no proof.
I have to agree with the Raw Log Export poster, economy is suffering. I think the overview is a little rosey and not accurate.

[edit] Martian Mars... Changes
Well technically, not the largest water bomber in the world anymore, I do suppose that it is still the largest "flying boat" type of water bomber.
Modification and Explanation
The world's largest production Aerial firefighting flying boat, the Martin Mars water bombers, make their home on nearby Sproat Lake. This lake is also a popular summer destination for local residents and cottagers from surrounding areas.
The use of the word "production" gives the notion that this aircraft was made specifically for firefightng, this is not the case, as it was a modification.
Aircraft like the Canadair_CL-215 was specifically designed for this use and are production aircraft. --phalcon 23:27, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- Though, there is a current misconception that the Mars are the worlds largest waterbombers period, and like I mentioned the IL-76 and the DC-8 are lager in capacity, perhaps we can find better wording then what is currently ambiguous in wording. I was thinking on the lines of convaying that they are the largest in capacity of aircraft that land on water, and where the worlds largest over all from <year> to <year>. Not sure on exact wording. But thats my idea. Furthermore, do we need to add the "This lake is also a popular summer destination for local residents and cottagers from surrounding areas." after it? --phalcon 05:21, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- The link to JRM Mars added to the image may help with these questions. KenWalker | Talk 01:46, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
