An example of pixel interpolation, based in part on Image:Dithering example undithered.png. Both parts were made in Adobe Photoshop's Image resize feature, the left image using the Nearest color resampling method and the right image using the Bicubic resampling method. The author, User:Dcoetzee, releases all rights to this work and releases it into the public domain.
