The Paxton First Schoolhouse, is located in the Ford County, Illinois city of Paxton, the county seat of Ford County. The Schoolhouse has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 1980. Paxton First Schoolhouse is one of three of the four Ford County Registered Historic Places found in Paxton. The other two in Paxton are the Paxton Carnegie Public Library and the Paxton Water Tower and Pump House. Ford County's fourth site, found in Gibson City, is the Alfred Phillips House.
