I am a PhD student in Hydrogen and Fuel cell technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. I am originally from Italy, but have been here in Norway for some time now.
I have been writing a bit about my subject, Fuel cells, but most of the time I have worked on subjects specific to Italy or Norway, like elections or political parties. Among other things I recreated the logo of the Italian Liberal Party, that was impossible to find on the Internet (the party died—good riddance, they were insanely corrupt—before the net became ubiquitous) in SVG, and am quite proud of it since it looked really like the original one.
I also worked lately on the Rescue of Giuliana Sgrena, and I finally got some clear idea on the subject. My conclusion: the Americans had put a blocking point in a completely incompetent way, in placement, troop training and equipment.
SVG is one of the things I have learnt recently. Support is still erratic at best in Web browsers, but using applications as Inkscape one can do really a lot of things.
When it comes to the languages here on the right: I apply the definition of level 3 if I can write an article in it, level 2 if I can discuss in it (with some mistakes I suppose), level 1 if I can read it.
