Greetings to the Wikipedia Community. Welcome to the User Page of Oatmealcookiemon! (not my real name.)
I love math! My favorite branches of math include graph theory, network theory, number theory, and n-dimensional geometry. Like many mathematicians, I also find hyperbolic geometry to be rather intriguing. Not surprisingly, I like linear algebra, tiling with polyforms and irregular polygons, combinatorics, cryptography, word games, chess, and variations on chess, especially hexagonal chess. And I've always found 3-D computer modeling and character animation to be quite fascinating.
I believe that there are ways to quantify things that nobody has figured out how to quantify yet. Social network analysts are quantifying things that were long thought to be unquantifiable. Like the surprise that you occasionally feel when you discover that two people you know already know each other.
The search engine I use most often is Goodsearch. Every time I search, the charity I designate gets money. (Actual payments go out once a year in direct proportion to how many searches people have done with that charity designated.)
You can goodsearch, too, for African Well Fund, Save Darfur Coalition, [Academy Central Elementary School], or any of the other schools and charities in their database. You can even add a charity that isn't already on their list. There's no reason not to!
