Minnesota State Highway 4 is a highway in west-central and southwest Minnesota, which runs from the interchange of Interstate Highway 94 and Minnesota 4 (near Sauk Centre) and continues south to its southern terminus at the Iowa state line (near Dunnell, Minn. and Estherville, Iowa), where it becomes Iowa Highway 4.

Minnesota Highway 4 serves as a north-south arterial route between Sauk Centre, Meire Grove, Paynesville, Hector, Fairfax, Sleepy Eye, Saint James, and Sherburn in west-central and southwest Minnesota.
Minnesota Highway 4 passes through the counties of:
Minnesota Highway 4 parallels U.S. Highway 71 and Minnesota Highway 15 throughout its route in west-central and southwest Minnesota.
Fort Ridgely State Park is located on Highway 4 in Nicollet County on the Minnesota River. The park is located south of Fairfax and northwest of New Ulm.

The southern terminus for Minnesota 4 is at the Iowa state line (near Dunnell, Minn. and Estherville, Iowa), where it becomes Iowa Highway 4 upon crossing the state line.
