Mickaël Gelabale (born May 22, 1983 in Pointe-Noire, Guadeloupe) is a French professional basketball player currently with the Seattle SuperSonics of the NBA. A 6'7", 215 lbs. small forward, Gelabale was selected by the SuperSonics in the second round (48th overall pick) in the 2005 NBA Draft. During the 2005-06 season, Gelabale opted to play in the Spanish league ACB with Real Madrid Baloncesto instead of immediately joining the NBA.
On July 12, 2006, Gelabale signed a two-years contract with the Sonics, joining Johan Petro as the second French player on the team.
In September 2005 he won the bronze medal at the 2005 European Championship with the French National Team. He is known for the size of his hair, which measures an astounding 47" around.[citation needed]
