[edit] Career
Mark Beale made his professional wrestling debut in 1985, wrestling for the now-defunct Interworld Wrestling Promotions and International Wrestling Federation. He formed a regular tag team with his brother Jimmy Beale on the undercard scene in Port Elizabeth. He stopped wrestling professionally in 1997 due to several injuries, but subsequently worked behind the scenes.
Mark Beale formed World Wrestling Professionals along with Mike Msizi in 2002 with the common aim of taking South African wrestling to another level. In 2004, SABC2 signed the promotion to a primetime television deal and WWP Thunderstrike made its debut in December that year. As well as managing behind the scenes, Mark Beale performs as an on-screen character on the show, playing a corrupt general manager[1][2].
