Mario Baldassarri

Mario Baldassarri (born September 10, 1946) is an Italian economist and politician, and a member of Alleanza Nazionale. He was elected as a senator during the 2006 general election.
Born in Macerata, he was vice-minister of Economy and Finance in Silvio Berlusconi's second and third governments, from 2001 to 2006. He is famous for having taken part, alongside Romano Prodi, in the April 2, 1978 seance during which information was given concerning Aldo Moro's secret whereabouts.
