Not only messy, it does not contain adequate information, it should be totally rewritten by a scientist.
[edit] "Bibliographic essay" edited
I have edited the so-called "bibliographic essay" section. I have tried to make it a little less wordy and a little more fluent and accessible to us Anglophones, without sacrificing anything of importance.
