Talk:Jesse Bogdonoff
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It seems fairly obvious that the material presented here is quite sympathetic to Mr. Bogdonoff, to the point of POV. Sourcing would be ideal. Lucidish 17:12, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Just how does it seem "fairly obvious"? Unless you're willing to provide the facts that prove that Mr. Bogdonoff is guilty of much more than this entry suggests your claim that this is POV simply your POV. Of course sourcing would be ideal, as would sourcing any claim you may make that seeks to prove that this article is an attemp to "whitewash" Mr. Bogdanoff's reputation. - First: "sympathy" and "POV" does not mean "omg lies" or "you're wrong". It means, first of all, source segments like: "In 2001 he learned that Herchel Hyatt, the owner of Millenium Asset Management Company, had stolen millions of Tonga's money and had filed a false accounting statement for the Tonga account. Bogdonoff arranged a recovery program for Tonga backed by Lloyds of London to protect against the losses... The Tongan government officials rejected the plan and stated that this money had been intended to improve the nation's infrastructure. They therefore proceeded to sue Bogdonoff and all the parties involved in the transaction for misappropriation." Neither citation cover those items. Second, the exact accusations which the government of Tonga made -- and which are a staple in both cited articles -- is necessary. Lucidish { Ben S. Nelson } 02:37, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
