Henry Gerber House

The Henry Gerber House is a house in the Old Town Triangle Chicago Landmark District of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The house was built in 1885 by an unknown architect. In the 1920s it housed the apartment occupied by Henry Gerber, founder of the short-lived Society for Human Rights, which was incorporated in Illinois as the first American organization working for gay rights. The building was designated a Chicago Landmark on June 6, 2001.^[1]
