"Wikipedia exists in a state of quantum significance flux. It's simultaneously a shining, flawless collection of incontrovertible information, and a debased pile of meaningless words thrown together by uneducated lemurs with political agendas. It simply cannot exist in any state between these two extremes. You can test this yourself by expressing a reasonable opinion about the site in any public space. Whatever words you type, they will be interpreted by readers as supporting one of these two opposing views." - Lore Sjöberg, Wired [1]

Dear Gurkhaboy you are doing an excellent job on Singh page by enriching it with true facts & fighting vandalism.--Sikh scholar (talk) 22:22, 25 December 2007 (UTC) |
"Enthusiastic as I was in the beginning about sharing my knowledge and experience with the whole world for free, I soon realized I was spending almost my entire time walking behind morons, picking up their garbage and pleading them to stop or I'd have to report them to the headmaster...... "The amount of utter bullshit, propaganda, spam, hate, incivility, idiocy, irresponsibility and long-undetected hoaxes I've seen here is a clear testament to what Wikipedia really is: a huge, inept and anarchic organization committed to political correctness more than to anything else, employing an unpaid, ill-equipped, badly trained and pitifully powerless work force." -Targeman, former editor in Wikipedia[2]
I love Wikipedia Medical articles, its a great quick reference for everyday medical topics among medical professionals.
I am a Medical Professional and volunteered my sevices for three years from 2001-2003 in India (mainly the Himalayan foothills of Uttar Anchal) in an outreach program to provide medical care to the less fortunate in areas without access to medical care. This got me published in the book Nomaskar: The Spirituality of Mother Teresa.
I am not in favor of caste distinction and politics.
I do not like religious fanatics.
I do not like racists and racial comments or overtones.
