Since exits on GA400 do not correspond with mile markers someone (who knows) needs to add miles under the exit numbers in the table. --mitrebox 02:40, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

I have lived in Alpharetta for over 15 years and we call Georgia 400 just "400" as well, so someone may want to change that opening statement to reflect that its not ALWAYS called "Georgia 400" Zeus982 09:15, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Description

"Contrary to public belief, the bonds that funded the construction of Georgia 400 south of I-285 will not be paid off until 2011."

What does "paid off" mean?? Georgia guy 22:13, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alpharetta Autobahn

I have not heard Georgia 400 called Alpharetta Autobahn by anyone. Is this an outdated term or someone's attempt at being funny? None of the traffic reporters on the radio use this term either. Biomedeng 14:50, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Agreed. I have never heard this one, either and I am a 25-year resident of Metro Atlanta. Besides, if anyone were to call 400 the Alpharetta Autobahn, they would be way off. You pretty much crawl at 15 MPH on 400 until you get to the Forsyth County line. Then, zoom zoom! Swatson1978 22:18, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution can be used as a reference for it: [1] --NE2 22:24, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Here's another reference, possibly not as reliable: [2] --NE2 22:26, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps it is worthy of inclusion in the article, but it seems like it is an older nickname that isn't in widespread use. I definately would argue that state route 400 is called Georgia 400 much more often than Apharetta Autobahn. But the way the article is written now implies that Alpharetta Autobahn is a common nickname for the route; perhaps it could be placed lower in the article and not in the introduction? Biomedeng 16:51, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

y'all- no one calls it the alpharetta autobahn. the ajc gives weird nicknames and explanations sometimes.68.215.162.26 22:57, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Loop 407 decommissioned?

Riding back from lunch today, and coming from Roswell Road on Glenridge, I saw a sign for the SR 407 Loop. (I was the passenger, so I don't have a real good idea where the sign was.) Is this a sign that got overlooked and wasn't removed, or is the Glenridge Connector still a Loop of 407? —C.Fred (talk) 04:22, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
