Talk:Dominion Network
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Major renovations required here. This is all wrong.
The Dominion network reached every city and town that had just one CBC English signal. The Trans-Canada network only reached larger cities where a second station, more often an affiliate than an O&O station, could be signed up.
CJBC Toronto was the main station of the network. CHLO St. Thomas was the London-St. Thomas market's affiliate. When the networks were reconsolidated in 1962, CJBC became redundant, and was later converted to French language; CHLO and other affiliate stations usually became independent in 1962.
The Dominion network was based out of CBL Toronto plus other key stations across the country.
I would like to correct this article as soon as I can.
