Dáithí Sproule (born May 23, 1950) is an Irish guitarist and singer of traditional Irish music. He was born and raised in Derry City in the north of Ireland and moved to Dublin in 1968 when he went there to university. He then subsequently went on to join such ground-breaking groups as Skara Brae and is currently a member of Altan.[1] His niece is the singer songwriter Claire Sproule.
