Talk:College Park, Georgia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is "Some reseidents pronounce it coli park" an appropriate comment? Or am I just reacting stragely to this phrase. People have different ways of pronouncing everything. Some conductors call the North Springs MARTA station "Noth Sprangs," but it just doesn't seem that relevant.

† It's not very relevant at all. And who is K-Juice that is such a sensation he doens't even have a small mention on Wikipedia? Never heard of him.
- Actually it seems fairly prudent to include at least some mention of highly successful Hip-Hop producer Michael "Mr. Collipark" Crooms who hails from the area, possibly necessitating a discussion of the pronunciation. The City is also apparently the bithplace of T.I., Ludacris, Young Joc and a few other well-known Atlanta rappers, as well as hip-hop svengali Jermaine Dupri of Kris Kross fame. "Collipark" appears to be a widespread enough pronunciation within the african-american community, it appears on a wide range of local hip-hop releases. Is this where they chop cars?

Should such a list be created to consolidate the information that is all over the place in the article naming famous people who are from or currently reside in this neighborhood?208.2.17.2 (talk) 17:34, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
