[edit] Cobra-La reference in Action Force issue
In "Thick as Thieves" story [1] Pythona appears to Serpentor as a hallucination. The story is a prequel to GI JOE the Movie. While not considered part of the GI JOE Marvel/Devil's Due comics continuity, the story was reprinted in U.S. as part of GI JOE EUROPEAN MISSIONS issue #6 [2].
