Christopher Patton (born 1969) is a Canadian poet.
Patton's first book, Ox, will be published by Signal Editions of Vehicule Press in 2007.[citation needed] His children's book, Jack Pine (illustrated by Cybèle Young) will be published in fall 2007 by Groundwood Books in Toronto.[citation needed]
Patton's characteristic subjects include nature, spiritual experience, the connection between those two, and what it means to see. His work has been collected in The New Canon: An Anthology of Canadian Poetry. His awards include the Bernard F. Connors Prize for Poetry in 2000 "for the finest poem over 200 lines published in The Paris Review in a given year."
