Blitar is a city (kota) and also a regency (kabupaten) on East Java, Indonesia, about 73 kilometers from Malang and 160 kilometers from Surabaya. The area longitude is between 111° 40' - 112° 09' East and its latitude is 8° 06' South. Kelud is only one active mountain located on the north of Blitar. Blitar has some temples from Majapahit kingdom, like Penataran and Simping. Sukarno's grave located on the city, 5 kilometers from the city plaza.
