Obviously you know that the other wiki article itself is worthless as a source. I really hope this won't just mean another waste of time for everybody involved, as we'll have to go through another AfD if this thing isn't sourced in a few weeks. You asked about the DEFAULTSORT template. What this does is change where the article will appear in categories which contain it. It's typically used in biographies to cause the subject to appear under his/her surname instead of under his/her given name. For instance, the {{DEFAULTSORT:Dickens, Charles}} in the Charles Dickens article causes him to appear under "D" in Category:English novelists, rather than under "C".
