Białołęka is a district in Warsaw located in the northern part of the city.

[edit] Białołęka Village
Białołęka Village came into being in 1425 and was belonging to the Gołyński Family. In 1938 Białołęka has 900 inahbitants and was belonging to the Bródno municipality.

In 1994, due to Act about new territorial division of capital, Białołęka changed name to Warszawa-Białołęka municipality. In 2002 the territorial division was changed, by replacing Warsaw's municipalties with districts.

Area of the division divides into following parts:
- "industrial" located in central, western, southern and southern-western part
- "housing estates with big density of buildings" located in western and northern-western part
- "housing estates with prevalent detached houses" - northern and eastern part.
