Atmos is a fictional character, a superhero in the future of the DC Comics universe. Atmos was the planetary champion of Xanthu, where the planetary government provided him with a headquarters and training facility.

Atmos was a relatively minor character, and did not play a major role in any legion storylines. He once tried out for the Legion of Super-Heroes, but despite being easily powerful enough, his arrogant attitude and callous disregard for others lead to his being rejected.
For a time after Dream Girl left Star Boy, she went out with Atmos, but eventually realized he was using an ability previously unknown to the Legion to manipulate her will.

Atmos is an imposing figure, standing nearly 10' tall with a large mohawk. When he transforms into superhero form, apparently his armpits become inivisible. He has powers of super-strength (his training facility includes a pair of barbells the size of a small car), flight, invulnerability and some form of mind manipulation.

Atmos tends to underestimate opponents trusting in his power level to overwhelm opponents.

When Atmos left Xanthu to try out for the Legion, Xanthu attempted to force Star Boy to take his place.

Atmos was a member of a superhero team called the Amazers on Xanthu.
