Anya Epstein (born 10 July 1970 in New York, New York) is an American television writer.

Epstein graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yale University in 1992. She was also Phi Beta Kappa.
Epstein is the older sister of Boston Red Sox General Manager Theo Epstein. Her father, Leslie Epstein, directs the creative writing program at Boston University. Epstein's grandfather Philip G. Epstein and great-uncle Julius J. Epstein won Academy Awards for the screenplay of Casablanca.
Epstein married actor Dan Futterman on 23 September 2000. Futterman is best known for his role as Judge Amy Gray's brother Vincent in the television series Judging Amy. Futterman also wrote the award-winning screenplay for the film Capote. They have two daughters: Sylvie (born in 2001) and Eve (born in 2005).
Epstein was previously a writer for the television series Commander in Chief.
