I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the Five pillars of Wikipedia and simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ , plus if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)! There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will be by to help you shortly.

[edit] Additional tips
Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
- You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Five will get you the datestamp only.
- You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
- If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
- If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.
- If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.

[edit] dave brown
angry, thanks for picking up my error re Dave Brown, I thought I got that from the Whiticker Kangaroo Captains book but on re-reading it I was quite wrong. i'm researching the Aust Rugby dual international category. it seems to me that a number of the early Kangaroo defectors were ex Wallabies and I'll write on Burdon, McKivat & Herb Gilbert. Don't suppose you have any reference points for me to find a more comprehensive list of other aust dual internats?? Sticks66 10:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RL/RU Dual Intls
thanks, list is brilliant & is the exact number (43) I was looking for. Arthur Anlezark ?? an unfortunate name and not one I'd heard of before.Sticks66 13:44, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
hey angry, i've been getting on with articles on aust dual code rugby intl's since you kindly provided me that list in Oct. I've got 4 to go and I'm left with 4 fairly non unique names that I'm having trouble finding out anything about. Claude O'Donnell; Geoff Richardson; Bob Stuart and Geoff Watson . Don't suppose you can refer me anywhere that might enlighten ? Richardson I think was a 70s Wests Bris 5/8 but I can't find any ref to when he played for Aust; Stuart may have been am Emu on the 1911-12 Kangaroo tour .Sticks66 13:40, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:HappyFamiliesCollage.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:HappyFamiliesCollage.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:41, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Happy Families
I was wondering if you have the "Happy Families" episodes? I had the series, but in extremely poor quality. I know that the "clear" quality version is out there. Just wondering if you had these. Thanks, and thank you for updating the page! 76.124.165.253 (talk) 04:53, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
