[edit] Merger from the Amfipoli history section
It has been suggested that the history section at the Amfipoli page be merged into the Amphipolis page.
- Support. The modern town and the ancient city are similar only in that they share the same site. There is therefore no reason that the Amfipoli page should have too much detail on the ancient city's history. Galanskov 07:48, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
If the articles are to be merged, then the info box and the leading sentence have to be moved.
