Alfonso Flórez Ortiz

Alfonzo Flórez Ortiz (born November 5, 1952 – died April 25, 1992) was a Colombian road racing cyclist who was a professional from 1985 to 1987 where he rode for the Colombian professional cycling team Café de Colombia team.[1] He was murdered in April, 1992.[2] He won the most important race in Colombia, the Vuelta a Colombia in 1979 and 1983. He frequently rode for the Colombian national cycling team and won the Ronde van Noord Holland in 1979 and the Tour de l'Avenir in 1980.
