A. Ghastlee Ghoul (Bob Hinton) is a television horror host from Dayton, Ohio. His program, The Ghastlee Movie Show, began in 1989 as a segment on a cable access sketch comedy presentation called The Underground Sideshow, and is still airing as of 2008.

Bob Hinton also is a film director, writer and actor.
In 2003, he played a demon-like doctor who torments the lead in Andrew Copp's film, Black Sun.
In 2004, Hinton wrote, directed, edited, filmed and starred in his film, Joe Nosferatu: Homeless Vampire. Hinton played Honey Diptwat, a crazy agent who is on the track of Joe, who is really just trying to find a place to stay. The film played at the horror conventions Cinema Wasteland in Strongsville, Ohio and Scary Camp in Dayton, Ohio. The film went over well with horror/comedy fans.
In 2005, Hinton played Jesus in Henrique Couto's horror/comedy anthology, Faces of Schlock 2, in the segment "Songs in the Key of Satan".
In 2006, Hinton was in John E. Hudgens' documentary, American Scary, in which he talked about being the horror host "A. Ghastlee Ghoul".
As well in 2006, he played Hummer, a vampire hunter trainer, in Marty Jenkins and the Vampire Bitches, another film from Henrique Couto. The film had its premier at the now closed down cult video store, Precinct 13 in Dayton, Ohio. The film played at many conventions.[which?]
Hinton is also in the upcoming Mike Ritchie film, Farmer Joe 2: Farm Harder, an independent B movie which should be out late 2008.

Hinton also plays bass and sings in his rock horror band, Splattertude. The band tours around the Dayton, Ohio area. The other band members are Suspira (vocals), Mayhem Zann (vocals) and Louu The XXX-Mas Devil (drums).
